fear the Lord
There needs to be a return of a proper fear of the Lord. Holiness and a Fear of the Lord needs to return to our individiual lives, our marriages, our families, our churches which will then transform our world.
God is a gentle, forgiving and merciful God. But He is also a Holy God in whom we are to fear and revere.
Somewhere along the way we have become prideful. In God's grace and mercy to help us in our time of immaturity, we have mistaken that as God's approval to the way we live and conduct ourselves. We somehow think that we can continue to live in sin and operate as such and God will continue to use us and turn the other check. When we need an extra helping, He gives freely. But His intention is to give us a boost not for us to remain as such and continue to operate in that manner.
If we do not fear and revere Him, He will gladly find someone else who would be willing to submit and humble themselves before Him.
The Fear of the Lord, do we even know what that means or look like anymore? May God help us.
