Word for Today: Not Always
“…you refreshed your weary inheritance.” Psalm 68:9b
Things are not always as real, true, hopeless or doomed as they may appear…so wait. Stay in constant fellowship with your God and remain in His Word that your faith may be strengthened and you may be able to discern the times.
The natural eye can play tricks on our mind or tempt us to jump to a conclusion that leads us down a slippery and often times, a painful slope because it wasn’t true! So wait. Call upon the Lord for guidance and ask for His spiritual eye to discern what is truly the real state of things.
Today, take a deep breath. Breathe in and out as you watch and pray. Put on your spiritual eyes, guard your heart and get ready for a crazy, wild God-show as times of refreshing are on the way.
Watch and pray, abiding and proactively walking in the Spirit.
Prayer: Dear Father, I choose to fix my eyes on things above. Give me spiritual wisdom and discernment in all situations lest I miss out on what you are doing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
