Word for Today: Joy
“You have endowed him with eternal blessings. You have given him the joy of being in your presence.” Psalm 21:6
Everlasting joy is the joy of being in Almighty’s presence. And in that magnificent presence, you will find strength and power for whatever you face. May God help us to move from just being happy to joyful because we have encountered The One who is the joy of our life.
Happiness can be short lived and conditional based on your situation or your mood. But joy, deep in your soul joy that is your strength, only comes from the Lord.
Prayer: Dear Father, joy everlasting is a fruit of the spirit and I posses the potential of being joyful regardless the situation or circumstance. I choose to put on joy and live out what you have already deposited into my spirit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
