Word for Today: Shield
“Lord, through all the generations you have been our home!” Psalm 90:1
Turn on the news, get on the Internet and quickly find yourself dismayed and even a bit distressed with the state of our society and the rate of crime. If we are not careful, we can quickly become fearful and paranoid which would do the very job the enemy was hoping, to paralyze us from living.
Regardless of what madness and craziness is going on in the outside and what darkness attempts to lurk around your corner, be at peace for God is a shield about us! We are protected and covered by the blood of the lamb.
Be at peace today for God is your shield. Rise up, put on the FULL armor and take your stand against the schemes of the enemy. The enemy is defeated and he is NO match for our Almighty King. You have been given all authority through the name of Jesus Christ so use it!
Don’t become fearful but pray up and renounce what is not right and pronounce all that is of God in the Mighty Name of Jesus for our God is an awesome God!
Prayer: Dear Father, you are awesome, powerful and great in all of your ways. I trust in you and my soul is at peace. I have what it takes because I have you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
