Word:Persist in Prayer (10/1)
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2
The resolve and discipline to persist in prayer is the resounding factor in seeing the complete work of God intended for your life come to pass . If you desire to see God move and prove faithful to His promise, persist in prayer. Prayer not only moves mountains but prayer is the essential key factor that moves your God desire into reality coupled with your faith and obedience to His Will.
May we be people who are proactively persistent in prayer – knocking, knocking on heaven’s door without relent, every moment He allows until the fullness of what He intended is complete. We must be vigilant and persistent in prayer, never relenting and becoming complacent if we truly desire to see all things available in His Word come to pass in our life.
God allows rays of hope to shed on our situation not that we would become comfortable and satisfied to stop there and settle but rather to fuel and encourage us to continue to push in and push forth His kingdom in our lives.
Proactively persist in prayer and all the while, giving praise to your Father for WHO HE IS and not just for what He does.
Prayer: Dear Father, You are faithful in all your ways. I choose to persist and remain in prayer at all times lest I miss the fullness of what you desire and intend for my life because I fell short of my God responsibility. I trust you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
