Word: Obedience (5/4)

“…to obey is better than sacrifice…” I Samuel 15:22b

Sow seeds of obedience in obedience and see what God does. The key ingredient to maximizing our life in Christ and to fully experience and enjoy all of what He desire to give, is to live a life of obedience – in every area of our life. Period.

The promises and blessings of God are not conditional but rather God is a God of principles. He has set certain principles into motion and as those principles are lived out, we will in due time reap the benefits of such.

If you are going to expend your life striving towards a particular principle, desire to fully live out God’s principle of obedient living. Regardless the cost, live in obedience. It will cost you far more to live a life not in obedience.

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for giving your Son Jesus Christ who demonstrated the greatest example of a life living in complete obedience, obedience even unto death. Help me Father to live in obedience in every aspect of my life. Reveal to me any areas of disobedience that I may repent and receive forgiveness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
