Word: Forsake (5/5)
"For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.” Psalm 94:14
Doing the right thing is not always fun but in the end, whether sooner or later, it will prove to have been the best approach. Do not forsake your daily victory or joy in a moment of weakness or by giving into your flesh. Continue to do right before the Lord and watch how He will lift you and cause you to rise up higher. The Lord will not reject His people, His inheritance which is YOU.
There are times in our walk with God where taking the “high” road, holding our tongue and pressing in when you want to resign will be a challenge, an internal battle if you may. Hold on. Know that God rewards the faithful so keep at it. Do not forfeit your victory today in a moment of weakness. Continue to do right before the Lord and watch what He will do. Great wonders for His great glory!
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for you are my strength. I will not allow discouragement or tiredness to keep me from taking the high road and living in obedience and love unto you. Help me during moments of weakness to press into you even harder. I will continue to do good as I wait upon you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
