Word for Today: Restore

“Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere Him.” Psalm 33:8

God is into restoration. He is a specialist in restoring and has been in the business of restoration for over 2000 years. He desires to restore all things back to its’ former and original form prior to compromise, influences of the world, sin and essentially, human alteration.

The fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden did not take God by surprise nor did He ever intend for His children to be under the curse of that fall for all of eternity. Praise God for He provides and He prepared a way – through His Son Jesus Christ in Whom we have FULL redemption and restoration. Praise the Lord!

Today God is reminding His people of this Truth, ALL things are created by God for God. However, somewhere since the fall of man until this point, we have seen this increasing progression where mankind are taking a God created things and using it in a God forbidden way. And as a result, many good God things have been distorted, twisted from its’ original form and we have become desensitize to the sacredness and purity of why it was created and for whom it was created for.

God is looking for a people who will choose to live a life consecrated and sanctified unto Him and Him alone so that the Church of Jesus Christ and everything that it stands and embodies would be restored back to its’ original intent. God is looking for a people who would submit and humble themselves to His Lordship and His glory alone that honor and holiness would be restored back to God’s House and among His people.

May we not be people who are careless and reckless with the things of God and devalue the original intent of all He has created. Revival is on the horizon when God’s glory and honor is properly restored and He is revered.

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for your wisdom and revelation that we may repent and be restored. Thank you for you have restored my life and my mind that I may be used by you for your glory and help restore the Church as I live a life completely unto you and you alone. Help me to hold true to everything you have created. And please grant me the grace to live a life of honor before all mankind. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
