In the Frame

Too much in the frame? This is something that has been burning in my spirit since last year.

As leaders it is vital that we maintain a healthly balance of being in the frame in order to lead people and then being too much in the frame where we can actually hinder people from seeing God and experiencing Him for themselves.

Sometimes we need to get out of the way and let God do His thing. Or rather, we need to always get out of the way so that God can do His thing. Let's not rob people of the Cross and the sweet joy of getting to know their Lord and Savior personally for themselves.

At the end of the day, this wonderful truth remains that lends us the freedom to do so. God is God. He loves His people, His glory more than we could ever.

If we are too much in the frame desiring to push people forward, we may find ourselves creating a situation where those people end up becoming too dependent upon us and constantly looking to a man or leader to tell them the next move with their God. Let people be with their God...and pray.

Seek wisdom and discernment from God as to when and how much to be in the frame. When to speak and to when to just let people be. Set them up for success by always pointing them to Christ.
