disposible
People are not items that we use and then dispose or discard when they no longer appear to be functional, useful or beneficial to us. People are not disposable items. They are people - human beings with feelings, emotions and needs. They have a soul and they matter.
It saddens me to see how quickly people are disposed, disregarded and discarded when they no longer appear to be useful. It's not cool even if it is unintentional when we use people, suck them dry and then drop them like last year's fashion.
My heart is greatly concerned for the ripple affect and impact for the state of the Church if we do not at least examine these thoughts. I am fearful for the type of message and statement we are making to the next generation. We need to model that in everything we do, it is for love and for the well-being of that person even if it means no gain to us.
Let's check ourselves. We can unknowingly make people feel they are loved for what they do as oppose to loving them for who they are.
