Word for Today: He Reigns (Fri. 1/30)
"…Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready." Revelation 19:6b-7
In every season and moment, trials and joyous times, defeat and victory, He Reigns. Our God Reigns.
What comfort it is to remember and know that our God Reigns. There has never been a moment in HiStory from the foundation of time that our God has not reigned. He rules and reigns and He is returning for His beloved.
As we continue to fight the good fight of faith, whether in times of providence or times of purification through the fire, He Reigns. Trust in the Almighty who IS and IS yet to come because He reigns.
Prayer: Glory be to your Name for the reminder and powerful truth that you reign and rule over every created thing for you are the Creator. May I rely on your power and your love that strengthens and armors me to finish the race. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
