Word for Today: My Shield
For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:12
Those who choose to live and obey in accordance to God's Way and His Word shall not fear. Though the fiery darts of Satan fly, your situation may clamor or a foe/enemy wants to bring you down, you are protected. Hallelujah!
Resolve to live right by God and do right by Him so when the enemy attempts to bring accusations up against you, you do not have to fear. You are not weighed down by guilt, paranoia or always looking behind you but you can confidently look forward and ahead. You can laugh and have confidence and security as you walk blamelessly and uprightly in worship unto your God. The enemy or your foe may attempt to form things against you but surely as the sun rises and our God is faithful, He blesses and watches over the righteous as our Shield.
Prayer: Thank-you Father for you are my Shield and my Banner. You uphold the cause of the righteous but frustrate the ways of the wicked. By your Spirit, strengthen me to live honorably before You and all man so that I may have laughter and no fear all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
