Word for Today: He Came
"The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death." Psalm 102:19-20
He came. Hallelujah He came to our rescue in our hour of need and in our darkest hour when we thought we were alone, He came. God the Father came incarnate in the body of a babe, the Son of Man, the Christ. How beautiful the Body of Christ.
God has never taken His eyes off of you. He sees you, He hears you and surely He has come! How lovely it is to know that He came for me! How lovely it is to be seen by the LORD Almighty- from the inside out, with every fiber of my being, exposed, laid bare before Him and He came. He has not rejected you, but He has come.
How sweet and precious the feet of Christ who came to be among us so that we may live and receive the full rights of our glorious inheritance in Him as Co-Heirs. I'm so thankful He came. He came for me and you. It is our challenge today to be reminded that He has come, to receive Him and to beckon others still captive to come to the Father.
Prayer: Glory be to God for you have come! Your glorious arrival has come in flesh through the Son of Man revealed to us. And by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that confirms once again that you are alive! Thank-you for coming. For seeing me and for being so ever near to my groans and cry. You came, you are here! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
