Word for Today: Chase
“…blessings chase the righteous.” Proverbs 13:22b
Live right before your God and all men and watch the blessings chase you down. That is the order of God's Kingdom and the way God has set things up.
We do not live right just to receive blessings but surely blessings will naturally flow when we do. Live right for it is the least we can do in light of His mercy and goodness towards us.
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for my righteousness is not dependent on what I can do but by the righteousness of Jesus Christ in which I have been clothed. I am righteous by nature because of Jesus but you desire for me to live out outwardly what I have already received in inwardly in the spiritual. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
