Word: De-Clutter (Wed. 11/4)
“Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do. Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.” Proverbs 4:23; 25-27
De-clutter and refocus today. De-clutter all that weighs you down, clogs you up and binds you from thinking clearly, living freely and loving passionately and honestly. May the Holy Spirit help us today to reveal the areas of our life that needs to be de-cluttered and even perhaps overhauled by the Craft Master Himself, God.
Clutter is frustrating and can lend you ineffective because it is distracting. And distraction is one of the longtime traps of the enemy. The enemy knows how dangerous it is when our eyes are not continually fixed on Jesus and the things of the Kingdom. It’s like driving on I-10 Katy Freeway during rush hour traffic with one hand texting while rocking out to your radio and looking out your window at the accident that just passed up. AHHH, dangerous! Or it could be like that tornado of a room/house of yours. Clothes, books, CDs, shoes, food, paper everywhere but nowhere in its’ rightful place and nowhere to be found in that heap of mess when needed. Clutter slows down your productivity and effectiveness which ultimately leads you to frustration which then gives the enemy a great opportunity to discourage and accuse you with his lies. Let’s break the cycle and get organized! This may be literal, spiritual or a combination of both for some of you.
Again, de-clutter, clear out and refocus. Be fixated on your Lord Jesus Christ and keeping moving towards Him.
Prayer: Dear Father, Lead me as I submit to your leadership and allow you to de-clutter and re-organized my life. I yield to you and I entrust my life in your hands. God grant me wisdom to know how to move forward and the power of the Resurrected Jesus Christ give me strength to maintain my freedom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
