consequence of, NOT the loss of
do not confuse the forgiveness of sin with the consequence of sin.
once we truly repent, God forgives and it is forever forgotten. however, there may be a "side affect" as a result of that sin. it is not God's punishment but it is the natural order of things. to every action there is a reaction. but i PRAISE God for he is merciful and gracious towards us when there is a consequence for a sin. in his love he shields us.
it is no mistake salvation is depicted as the helmet in regards to the armor of God. this is of significance because the enemy will attempt to come against your mind in the event you do sin in hopes to deceive you in believing that you have lost your salvation or that God will not forgive. once truly saved, always saved for it is by grace that we are saved. however, i must disclaimer and state as recipients of this free gift, we are to not trample and abuse grace. however it is there for the taking when needed.
resolve once and for all of your eternal destiny and get going with the things of God that he has planned for you. resolve that issue today.
