“…she wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for him in the inn.” Luke 2:7b
God’s answers to prayers and gifts often times come in a different packaging than our minds often expect. That’s the God factor. You can’t predict how He is going to do it but surely you can predict and count on Him staying true to His character and that He will fulfill His promises.
May God help us to open our spiritual eyes to see all things in light of what He is doing and not limited to our own frame of understanding. So the next time God sends something your way that doesn’t quite look like the way you expected it to look, don’t disregard it yet or open your mouth to complain or murmur. How do you not know that could have been your answered prayer?
The Messiah, the King of all kings, the Savior of the World came in the form of a babe in a modest and humbling way. Who would have known such power and authority laid in that manger.
