To live a life that gives God glory and declares His glory made known in and through our lives is a noble prayer and desire. It is a prayer that will turn your life upside down and from the inside out. Be prepared, it will be a "brutiful" process and journey as Ps. Ed Young says. It will be beautiful and brutiful at the same time.
In living a life that declares "all for your glory God, all that I am for your glory and Kingdom use," it is a daily consent for God to take all that is within us so that all of us is His, for His glory. God will take what is not glorifying to prune, purify and refine to glorify. A life that declares for His glory is a surrendered life that knows no offense and whose flesh was crucified a long time ago.
It's a challenging process but surely it is worth it for He is worth it. In our desire to give God glory is just that, an exchange. Us giving and being emptied so that He can be glorified, Him and Him alone.
