Room to Grow
God reminded me today the difference between "giving up" and "releasing" in order to grow.
Giving up is simply resigning. Relying on man's efforts and ability. Throwing your hands up in the air. Wiping them clean. No room or attitude to receive.
Releasing is trusting and believing. Entrusting and releasing to the Father who IS capable and able. Offering. Hands opened to release and to receive from God.
May God help me in 2008 to continually "release" into His trustworthy hands all things. For it is in the releasing that I find.
