One day during work God gave me the message below. Haven't had a chance to share it until now.

Spend time with the people you are praying into salvation. If you have been praying for the salvation of a love one and have not seen it come to pass….how are you witnessing to them? Have you even been spending time with them?
Sometimes we can get so caught up in our own lives and our own pleasures- even “good” things like Christian related events, ministry, and fellowshipping with other Christians we forget that it is not all about us. God created and allowed those things for our enjoyment but we must also live a balanced and focused life remembering the foundational purpose of why we were saved. We were saved to be reconciled to God the Father in order to call and bring others into the same reconciliation with the Father. We have been commissioned with the ministry of reconciliation. How are we reconciling when we are NOT spending time with the very people we are desiring and wanting to see reconciled to Christ?
Strange it may seem but even Christian “events” and hang time with other Christians can be selfish and self promoting if it is taking time away from ministering to those who God has placed in our path to speak the Good News of Salvation too.
If you haven’t seen loved ones come to Christ, perhaps you need to re-prioritize and re-evaluate how you are actively trying to reach them.
Forget about methods, processes, steps - it is all about building an authentic and real relationship with the person we are witnessing too, keeping their needs, concerns, and personality in mind in order to meet them and speak to them the way that God designed their heart to understand need and love.
Meet them where they are at, and live your life in such a way that shouts to them the transforming power of Christ in you!! Jesus met people right where they were at and He dealt with them in ways that THEY understood. The people’s hearts were softened because something struck a chord in them and their eyes were opened to see their need for that very Savior, Jesus Christ.
