Word for Today: At Work

God has always been at work since the beginning of time. He is the author of time, He is the Alpha and Omega – the Beginning and the End.

We praise God for the things we have experienced within the past few months and we look forward to see where He takes us for the remainder of 2008 and into 2009 – our destiny.

The word from our Father today I sense is for His Church to remember that He has always been at work. God has never ceased to be at work, He has simply been waiting for US to catch up and capture what He has been wanting to do in and through His people. We my friends have been a bit slow. But we praise God for surely He is patient with us. He can make up for “loss” time – what God can do in one day far exceeds what we could ever attempt in an entire lifetime for He IS the author of Time.

Surely God has been pouring out His spirit and anointing in a way that we have never seen. My friends, that is His pure goodness and His desire to be at One with us. When we open and submit ourselves to ALL of God, at that moment we finally give God something to work with. He has been desiring to move through His people since the fall in the Garden. He has been ever so patient with us in waiting for us to “get with the program.” His grace and love far exceeds what our minds could ever fathom.

Today, praise God for what He has always been doing and give Him all the glory. Consider it pure joy and an honor to be allowed to be a part of what He is doing. He has been waiting for us…let’s not keep Him waiting any longer. Press in and press on to all that God has for us while we surrender and humble ourselves to His awesomeness. With everything, we submit.

If you find yourself “with the program,” humble yourself before God and know that it is all from Him and by Him. You did not “arrive” on your own but by the pure grace and goodness of God. Give Him praise.

If you find yourself in need of “getting with the program,” no fear or regret, God has never taken His eyes off of you. He is the creator of all things and His plans for your life has never wavered. God is a redeemer and restorer – He supernaturally can make up for all things!

Prayer: Dear God, I know that all things come from you and you hold all things together. I am reminded that you have always been at work, there has never been a break or gap in what you created and what you desire to come about from your church. We are experiencing YOUR revival because you choose to bless us with the work of your hand. We love you and we thank-you for allowing us to be alive during such a time as this. In Jesus Name, Amen.
