Character
Character is defined as who you are when no one is looking. Is your character consistent in public and in private?
I was listening to a sermon this morning, and I would like to share a statement that stood out in my spirit.
The pastor said a good way to “measure” a person’s character is this: how do they treat people they do not “need” – people who they cannot gain something from. When we need help, we treat everyone nice but the true measure is when you are in “power” and things are going well for you, how do you treat those around you now? Specifically, how do you treat those people you once needed and they helped you to be where you are today, and you no longer "need" them, how do you treat them?
