Word for Today: Contagious
God's charge for us as His warriors and His chosen one is to be a people who live a contagious life that spurs people onto the things of God. Did you catch that? Living a contagious christian life means spreading and ultimately "infecting" people with the good things of God. Whether that means you are actually sharing the gospel with someone or just in the way you smile or the jokes and conversations you have among your peers; we infect and affect the lives of those around us.
The fact that you and I are alive illustrates the powerful truth that we are spreading "something" to those around. My question and challenge to you today is this: What are you spreading?
God desires for us to be a people who are caught in love with Him. And as we ask and seek of God, properly in accordance to His will and desires, we spread His will and desire to all those around.
Today as you go about your weekend, what are people catching from your life? Does it bring hope and life that guides them to reconnect with our God or are you tearing and dividing and causing a disconnect among the Body of Christ and ultimately with people and their Heavenly Father? Think about it.
