Word for Today: Continue (11/20)

Continue to do good. Regardless of what you wake up to face today or what battles lie before you or the obstacles and circumstances that are stacked before you and your family, continue to do good.

God's Word encourages us in this: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:9-10

What hope we have in Christ for surely the things we do is not in vain and not for not! Keep on keeping on!

Often times our tendency may be to give into the flesh and to stop doing what is before us and what we have grown accustom to doing when things get difficult or when loving people begins to cost us or hurt us. Loving people consistently can be especially difficult at times when we have been wounded or if they are people who are closet to us or even those who are among the family of God. Take heart, God sees you. Regardless of what you and I face, God's Word encourages us today to continue to do good and to keep at what He has instructed us to do. Do not give up for in due time, you will see the fruit of His grace at work in your life as you continue by faith and complete dependence upon God to do all things. His grace is sufficient and rises up to meet us at every decision and act of obedience He has called us to complete.

Lift up your heads and continue at what God has placed before you. Do not grow weary and faint, for your Redeemer is near!
