Word for Today: Louder
Let your praise, prayers, thanksgiving and worship scream louder than everything that may be going on right now in your life or even the things taking place in our world today. Let it be louder for the Almighty God dwells in you and He is in control!
I believe God is challenging His children today to make a decision to be “louder” than what the news, economy, struggles, trials, fears, doubts and difficulties that face us. Do not be distracted or discouraged with all that may be going on around you and even within you for our God is a faithful and BIG God.
During trials and troubles, we cling to God and we serve, love and push through even harder. We may be tempted to hide away or retreat to “safety,” but there is not safer place than when we are in His presence, doing His work.
“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” I Corinthians 15:56-58
Let your voice and let your love shout louder today than ever. God has given us an awesome task of bearing His witness and through Christ, we can stand strong. Resolve to abandon everything that stands in the way from YOU serving and loving our God. You have everything you need IN Christ, this IS YOUR time!
