Word: Jesus (12/18)

"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21

There is something about that name, Jesus. It is the Name above all names. There is no other name that holds so much meaning and so much power. That name, encompasses all of our hopes. That name, is a miracle making name. That name, is the sweet Name of my Savior.

In your hour of need or moment of weakness, call upon that sweet Name. In your time of joy and celebration, yet again, call upon that beautiful Name.

What significance and value does the name Jesus hold for you? What does that name mean to you and for you? We all may have a different response but remember at all times to honor the majestic and holy name of JESUS. That would only be fitting for He is King.

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for the beautiful name of Jesus. Thank you for the right to use and call upon that name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
