“If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” Ecclesiastes 4:10
Take time to appreciate the people God has put in your life. Whether God allows that friendship for a season or a lifetime, there is no doubt it was for a reason. They are there to strengthen and mature us.
Perhaps that person laughed, cried or walked with you or at times they corrected, taught you and were you “blind spot.” Perhaps they taught you how to love, how to love yourself or showed you a glimpse of the greatness of God in you by the way they validate you. Perhaps you have or had a friendship that was a challenging one. Praise God for those as well because during conflict, you grow the most.
There are no accidents. Praise God for all things and for all the reasons and ways He uses to draw you closer to Him.
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for the people you have placed in my life over the years. Those who have walked with me and even those who have caused me pain. For that pain led me straight to you. I bless you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
