Word for Today: Pure
“Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love…” Psalm 90:14a
God desires to be our satisfaction – our One and Only pure (unadulterated, untainted, uncontaminated, clean and wholesome) satisfaction. Today, may He be once again our One Desire, our Pure Satisfaction.
No one or nothing can satisfy and quench our desires apart from God. He is our One and Only, He is our beloved. If you find yourself unsatisfied, barely getting by or feel the need to have people validate or approve you, turn to the One.
In Christ alone do we find our worth, joy and pure satifisfaction.
Prayer: Dear Father, you and you alone are my everything. Thank you for being my satisfaction, pure satisfaction. May all else pale in comparison. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
