Word for Today: BE
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know them full well." Psalm 139:14
Simply BE who God has already called you to BE. For too long the enemy has lied to us in telling us that we must "do" something in order to "BEcome" someone of significance or value. As a result of this lie, we then may find ourselves caught up in the need or feeling pressured to BEcome something we are not to please or win the approval of our parents, peers, or even leaders to whom we respect. God is not asking us to become something we are not, He is simply asking us to BE who He has already called, equipped and prepared us to be. Halleluiah!
God is reminding His children today to simply "be." Wherever this message finds you today, simply be the person God has already designed you to be. Only you can be you the best.
Praise God for the very moment we came to Christ (confessed Jesus as Lord), God the Father deposited everything we need for Christian Living. He is simply asking us to embrace what He has granted and to live it out by simply believing and being who He has already declared us to be. No more searching and no need for "self-help" books when the Master has already secured our identity and worth when Christ went to the Cross. Our significance is lived out and displayed as we are caught in a daily love relationship with the Father. You are one of a kind!
