Get Out of the Box!!

I am thankful for the time God has allowed me to spend with people these past two weeks. I am grateful for how each time has truly been Holy Spirit inspired and God ordained.

It is amazing how the "trend" of many of our conversations have been centered around the following: All independent but same spirited message.

1. Above all, bottom line, it is a relationship. God desires a relationship. Not minstry, not religion but a relationship. Even ministry & good services to the Lord can never replace the presence of God himself by having a living and thriving relationship.

2. Get out of the very "box" that we place ourselves in. So many are spiritually frustrated not knowing how they fit or how to go about doing this "minstry" or "christian" thing. Why? One of the reason I believe is because we have this tendency to look around and whether consciously or subconsciouly we compare and we use the people around us to be the standard and measure to which what we think "minstry," "service to God," being a "christian," "a leader" is suppose to look like. Yes, use them as an example but look to God to discover how we are made and begin to operate out of who He says we are as oppose to the people around. No wonder we are frustrated, first because we are in a box and second of all, we are in someone else's box!!

3. Stop trying to "be" something with God. If we are to ever learn what it means and experience true, authentic and satisfying relationships with one another, we must first learn and practice what it is to have an real, authentic, and transparent relationship with our Father. If we find it hard to come to God and tell Him honestly what we need and the true state of our heart, no wonder we have a hard time being transparent and real with imperfect ppl around us. We have not yet to learn what it is to identify ourself with Christ and the art of cultivating a real relationship.

4. We are all uniquely and creatively MADE by the Designer Himself. Dare to be different - to be the person God has designed us to be. We often look around and compare ourselves all the while God is saying "you simply be you!" If I wanted everyone to be the same, I would have made robots! Seek the Creator and be released into your God given destiny. He has a purpose for you!

May God help us in the days to come.
