New Year

2010 is closing out and 2011 is upon our doorstep. I am so thankful for a new year and new beginnings!

I am SUPER excited for this upcoming year. Many things are happening and unfolding at once. We had a leadership meeting last night and God has provided a kick butt team. My husband and I constantly speak highly of the leadership team we were privileged to work with at VBC Houston. We are excited to work with the same 'quality' at VBC Greensboro!

As we prayed individually and then gathered as a team, we simply want to be a people who follow God. We want to be those who seek God and in seeking Him, He'll unfold and direct us as to what we are to do. The 'planning' for the new year is to be prepared as individuals. And when God calls and moves, we move with Him without skipping a beat. As responsible leaders, we have a work in progress plan but we are also prepared to be flexible as the Holy Spirit directs.

No doubt it will be a year of labor. But the joy of partnership and seeing people engage and alive in Christ makes it all worth it.
