Word for Today: Choosing

“The steps of the godly are directed by the LORD. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Psalm 37:23

Choosing to bless the Name of the Lord in all circumstances. Choosing to praise the Lord during trials and the storms of life. Choosing to sing of His greatness when discouragement and disappointment sits at your front door. Choosing to continue to do good during times your soul and body is weary. A life that God can bless is a life that chooses to live His way and not the way of this world.

Today is a choice. Choose to bless. Choose to praise. Choose to sing. Choose to do good. And as you live your life God’s way, watch His blessings overtake you.

Prayer: Dear Father, a life of righteousness, holiness, godliness and one that honors you is not by accident or chance, it is by me actively and consciously choosing to do so. Help me to continue to live right by you & to make the right choices. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
