comfortable

are you a comfortable christian? we are not to seek hardship or troubles. however, be reminded that this is not our home. we are just passing through.

we are to live uncomfortably for Christ while being comforted by Christ himself. it is not enough to just be a "good" christian, we need to be effective christians. each living out their God calling & purpose for the winning of souls & return of Christ.

over the last few weeks my heart has been burdened by the thought of 'casual christians.' we are to live "radically" for Christ in the realms of how He has wired us and within the boundaries of where He has placed us. when i say radical i do not mean fanatic or whatever you may think of when you hear "radical." radical in the sense of one who is effective & brings change.

are you a comfortable, casual christian? lukewarm, sitting on the fence? in the world and of the world? are you going along with the culture and throwing in 'enough' God principles to pass as a christian? would people know we are any different than those who do not know christ?

may God help us to choose Him and not the culture.
