at the end of the day, i am always brought back to this truth, God is good. He is so very good. He is good beyond my deserving. He is good beyond imagination. He is good without regard to my "effort." He is good because His character and being is just that, good.
He is a good God. He has good thoughts. His actions are always good towards His children. knowing that you know that God is good is a vital ingredient in walking a life that continually trusts and obeys. and a life that trusts and obeys is a blessed life.
if you know He is good, but your circumstances don't look so good, you can still trust, have faith and continue to move forward because you trust in the credibility of the good God rather the circumstance. if God is asking obedience from you but the steps ahead are uncertain, you can confidently step into obedience without knowledge of the details because you trust that the good God will lead you and because He IS good, He would never lead you to a harmful place. God is good. all of the time.

Get it into the marrow of your bones otherwise you will continually rock back and forth, not making progress or decisions because you have yet to resolve first things first, what do you know of God?
