park plaza hospital

the last few days we have been in and out of the hospital with our little one yvonne n. she is our precious spiritual daughter. she has a condition called lupus and over the past few months her body has been acting up which resulted in a fall at school and her stay in the hospital for the past 5 days. she is a trooper, a fighting warrior.

i am glad to share that she is doing much better. God is great, he works all things for the good and He is supernaturally accelerating all things. His ways are not our ways. He is creative and detailed and surely He has her on the fast track!

yvonne n. came to us and sought us out as her spiritual parents. our cup runneth over at such a high calling. it is one thing to simply lead and pastor at the pulpit or within the confines of a church setting with an occasional interaction outside the 4 walls of church but it is a 'whole 'nother level' when you have been given the privilege and honor to spiritually parent a soul. we love it!

reminders along the way...
1. one of great faith is not divorced of ones' humanity

2. to lend transparency is to give entrance into our journey which in turn shows them our God

3. to ask & receive help is to invite someone to partake in our life and ultimately something greater than 'ourselves' because for those of us in Christ, great are His plans.

4. everyone has something of worth to offer -- whether they are a believer or unbeliever. God created us all.

this is not the last you will hear of yvonne n. she has only just begun....
