Ballroom dancing...spiritual insights

We had our first ballroom dancing lesson on Monday night. Wow, I am so uncoordinated but beyond the physical I got some other issues :)

So the premise of ballroom dancing is for the female to turn her brain off and let the guy lead. She needs to simply follow. I learn best when I am absorbed in what I am learning - hands on; visual learner. Yeah, I was reminded I need to simply pray and trust in God!

I got issues with going with the flow - I constantly need to know the next "move." I am working and learning, by God's grace. I signed up for ballroom dancing and got a bonus of marriage counseling :)

We kid that this would be something great for those in pre-marital counseling - principles in action! I can totally see it....
