Word for Today: Boast
“…we boast in the LORD our God.” Psalm 20:7b
If you are going to boast, boast in our God.
All praise, honor and adoration go to our Lord Jesus Christ for it is by Him and Him ALONE all things exist and the very reason we have the blessings we do.
Today, boast about your God. Sing of how great He is not just for the great things He has done for you but because He is so worthy and so good, ALL of the TIME!
If God never did another thing for you, what He has already done is enough. If you are never remembered for anything great or recognized for anything else, you still have reason to boast about our God for His very love is enough to boast all the days of our life!
Prayer: Dear Father, I choose to boast about you all day long. In the good times, bad times, in the sowing or harvesting, with tears or laughter, you alone are great and worthy of all my praise. I bless you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
