Winners!
I was dancing in my spirit this morning as God reminded me of this truth: in Christ, we are winners. We win!! When everything on this earth fades and passes away, we are confident and secure because we know the outcome - we win! Regardless of what illness, situation, or circumstance of impossibility we currently face on this side of heaven, we need not be anxious. We have been given the 'play book' and we know the final ending - sweet victory!
But even more, it is not enough for believers to know this ending and wait. God has not allowed us to see the 'play book' so we can just wait and barely hold on until we get to the ending or see it in its' fullness. The victorious and overcoming life chooses to live in present victory moving towards an even more glorious victory, right now. God has graciously allowed us to 'see' the ending so that we may be helped and encouraged to live in victory where it counts the most, right now, on this side of heaven.
So today, no more hanging your head low, barely getting by or waiting for that 'big' break before you celebrate. Live in victory NOW and watch the breakthrough and blessings chase you down. People are looking for a hope, may they find that hope in us today.
