Word: Quality (Tues. 7/7)

“…his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work.” I Corinthians 3:13

God calls us to excellence. We are to do a few things and to do it very well. As we become proficient in one task, God will stretch and give us additional responsibilities. The long trap of the enemy is busyness. Busyness results in us spending our wheels doing many things but not being excellent at any. Slow down and scale down what you are doing to ensure you are producing quality work.

Do not be discouraged or frustrated feeling as if you are not doing enough or you do not have anything to “show” for all your hard work. God sees and in due time, you will reap a long lasting harvest that will withstand.

God is so much more interested in quality than quantity. Make sure whatever you do, give your

very best whether it is for 1 person or 1000, work as if you are working unto the Lord.

Prayer: Dear Father, you call me to excellence. Help me to remain focused on what is before me and to work it to my very best. It brings you great glory when I produce quality long lasting fruit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
