Word: Appear (Wed. 7/8)

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you…” Ephesians 1:18a

Things are not always as they appear initially and right off the cuff. Therefore, watch and pray.

Don’t miss out or forfeit the fullness of what God wants to do by assuming that something is something before God fully unveils. And even more, don’t rob yourself of the pure joy of knowing God in and through the process because it’s all about a relationship! Enjoy the process and the intimate relationship with God as you wait for all things to pass.

As you are watching and praying and faithfully keeping at what God last instructed, He will reveal the next detail. Wait on God to unfold the grand picture; paint stroke by paint stroke, color by color until this grand masterpiece is revealed.

Prayer: Dear Father, redemption is so much better than perfection. And in the same way, the relationship and the intimate personal faith building moments are more precious than robotic canned experiences. I choose to wait on you and allow you to unveil and reveal each glorious detail of your grand plan for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
