delicate art

The art of moving forward requires a delicate balance.

Being a forward thinker and God dream chaser while remaining steady, focused and staying the course for what is at hand is an art every person must learn if they desire much fruit and longevity. I believe we must learn this art if we want to be a true and effective leader. Quite frankly, I think it is easy to bulldoze and push forward. Constantly moving forward without much consideration for anything or anyone but for the "result." Results are important. But this sole approach alone is incomplete and we risk walking a fine line of being tempted to use God for own agendas and miss out on the entire purpose of it all, it's relational.

As leaders, we should desire longevity and a ministry known for inviting/taking others along for the journey. We are not to simply "take" people along and show them our journey only. As if we have something to "show off." We are to invite/take them along with the purpose of igniting and flaming them towards their own dreams. Help them rise to the occasion.

It is not about you. It is not about building our own kingdom, fame, legacy. The purpose: To bear MUCH fruit for His namesake, build people to which the Father receives all glory. Glorifying his name and making much of him.
