Word: Directs
“The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he turns it wherever he pleases.” Proverbs 21:1 (NLT)
Take comfort and great joy in the reality and reminder that God is Sovereign. He is in control. He is God.
Whether we find ourselves in need of good reminder that He indeed has a purpose and plan for our life or in need of an extra dose of security that we haven’t totally messed up His purpose or plan for our life, take heart. As God is able to direct a king’s heart and turn it as he pleases, so He can make all things turn for good towards you. God is a gracious Father, giving good things to His children.
His arm is not too short to extend towards us. His grace is sufficient.
Prayer: Dear Father, You are the Kings of all kings. As you hold all power in your hands to direct a king’s heart, so you are powerful to direct the course of my life. I trust in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
