Love

God's timing is perfect. How He loves me, how He loves me.

He is my reward. God loves the "wow" factor. It has been amazing, absolutely amazing what God has been doing and will continue to unfold, unveil. Sweet release.

God is linking so many thoughts together, weaving this beautiful picture.

1. We are sons and daughters. Period.

2. The Inheritance as His sons and daughters. It's ours, let's grab hold of it.

3. The enemy knows our worth, value and signifance in Christ more than we do. That's why he tries his best to keep us down and we allow it because we don't fully know our worth in Christ.

4. Satan was a fallen angel, he knows the power of praise and worship. That's why he is out to steal our praise. Sacrifice of praise. He wants us to keep our mouths shut during difficult times knowing if we open and sing and cry out to God, we will be healed.

5. The storm must come so that rain can come and water the seeds God has planted in our lives so it can have the proper nutrients to grow and bear fruit. We need the rain but so often, our perspective have been misaligned and we get confused. We "wish" the rain away thinking that it is "ruining" what God has been doing or waht we desire but little do we know that the rain is part of the process and God's plan. The rain will water the seed and allow it to dig deep roots. The storm helps to wash away anything that does not need to remain - the shakeable and impurities (debris) so all that remains is what cannot be shaken.

6. Run this race for love. Love is the motivating factor. If we examine our hearts and motives, we may find that we have ran this race for reasons other than love, pure love as God intended. We didn't mean to, we had well-intentions. Perhaps some of us have ran this race from the standpoint as a servant, wanting to be a good servant. Or a good leader or "good" christian. Maybe we have been running this race out of obligation, religion and tradition or desiring to win God's approval or seek a reward from Him. If so, you may find yourself frustrated more than joyful and certaintly struggling more than soaring. Perhaps we have been running with the wrong motive or perspective. God wants us to run this race for love. For the sake of love we do all things. Out of a well of love for God as our Father, knowing that we are His sons and daughters, we run this race. That is our fuel, that is our source of endurance and power is love. Run for love - God's love. We are not running to attain God's love because He already fully loves us, no more, no less. We run this race out of the overflow of finally understanding the depth, magnitude and immense love God has for us. Oh how He loves us. When we think about His love, the pains and afflections cannot compare and cannot overshadow His love.

7. During difficult times, it is an opportunity not only for more "tools" for our ministry tool belt (that's servant mentality) which is good but far greater, an opportunity for God to demonstrate His great love. When we see His faithfulness and His care that carries us through during difficult times, we are overcomed with the knowledge of His love for us. It is all about love. That is the sole reason to which He came, out of His love to call us back into a love relationship with Him.
